The stools produced in the local workshops are found to have poor quality when they are put in use; after few days you find the joints becomes loose and have no strength which needs to be repaired.
Joints in wooden furniture often become loose over a time and need to be fixed before they break. But sometimes they are put in use when faults are not realized. Thus sometimes cause accident and disappointment.
In reducing such kind of accidents; repair of loose/broken stools has been going on; but it remains a challenge.
Customers do buy stools but can’t last long and are taken for repair. For this reason, customers are refraining from buying furniture in the village. So it is a question to us, how shall we improve production of quality stools? What type of wood and skills shall we apply for the production of quality stools? It has become a crucial issue to be handled.
